How to Reach

Mussoorie being one of the most popular hill stations in India experiences great influx of tourists not only from the country but from across the national boundary as well. The town is full of tourists especially during the summer season. One can easily reach Mussoorie by Road, Rail or by Air.

By Road–Most of the major cities are well connected to Mussoorie by road. Delhi is approx 270 kms, Nainital - 355 kms, Garwal - 135 kms and Dehradun – 60 kms from Mussoorie. Private buses and state transportation are easily available from New Delhi to Mussoorie. Also, one can opt to take their private vehicles or rent a taxi.

By Rail– Dehradun railway station which is around 34 kms from Mussorie is the nearest railhead. One can travel by rail from major cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow, Varanasi and Amritsar to Dehradun and from here can travel by road to Mussoorie. If you are initiating your journey from Delhi, Shatabdi Express would be an ideal option.

By Air – The Jolly Grant Airport which is 24 kms from Dehradun is the nearest airport to Mussoorie. There are daily flights from Delhi to this airport. From here you can take a private car or rent a taxi or can also travel by bus to reach Mussoorie.
